Moving Meditations

I attended the DancingStrongMovementLab 'Moving Meditations' for the first time last week. In fact, I am joining in again tonight. Quite honestly, I just absolutely loved it. I was left feeling so serene, clear-headed and at peace with my present self. Meditation is not for everyone. Given this difficult time we are in, it can be so challenging to clear our minds of all of our worries. However, Helen's guidance was endlessly soothing where she did not ask anything from us but invited us to partake in certain steps of the session. Participants have complete autonomy to decide what they want out of the session; how they perceive the movement and how they approach the mindfulness. Whether you choose to envision everything internally, and lie still for 45 minutes, or you are feeling active and the body is seeking exploration of movement in space. 


* Zoom may not be able to replicate the community spirit of a live class, but it is certainly not far off.
